When it rains, it pours! haha

THE FLOOD! haha

Dad in the backyard.

Our neighbor's backyard.

Backyard

Our backyard used to be apart of an old riverbed and man when it rains you can tell.

Our other neighbor's backyard that was completely flooded.

A close up our backyard fence. Our property actually goes to the field behind the trees but for some reason they wanted the backyard to look smaller. haha

Front yard, drainage ditch completely filled. It's about three feet deep.

Our neighbor's driveway.

Wide shot of our front yard.

Zelly, my most wonderful handful.

Okay so Zelda has decided to be a high maintenance little girl. She is so intelligent, which don't get me wrong is such a blessing, but at the same time she truly keeps me on my toes.

Zelda with her "aunt" Hayley.
Hayley is one of my closest friends in Texas and she loves to spoil us rotten. haha

Getting this photo almost took an act of God to get. Apparently, in Texas Santa is a big business and trying to get your cild photo with Santa an evening bigger business.  We tried three times unsuccessfully and finally the fourth time was the charm and we got this photo. Yay!

Zelda and her first christmas. Jared and I love Christmas so we woke up around 4:30am to open presents and stockings. Zelly had just gone back to sleep so she missed most of it.

Ada reading to Zelly. She is quite interested in books with lots of color.

Our little girl sure knows how to have a bad hair day with little to no hair! haha

We can already see her take charge attitude.

She actually was able to put her binky in her mouth all on her own. Needless to say it was "I need my  coffee day."

She was a bit feverish from teething so we got her some pain reliever medicine. Her reaction to bubble gum flavoring is completely priceless.
